BEE free (formerly BeeFree OS) is a desktop Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. It features the KDE Plasma desktop environment and various customisation, such as the inclusion of Epson printer drivers, GRUB customiser, Python 3 integrated with the Visual Studio code, and WPS Office. The project started life as a Linux Mint-based distribution with the Cinnamon desktop, but switched to KDE neon base in the third quarter of 2019, and then to an Ubuntu base in 2020.
BeeFree OS is described as 'BeeFree OS is inspired from Ubuntu, Windows 7 and Linux Mint. The name is acronym for Beautiful, Effective, Efficient and Freedom' and is a Operating System in the Social & Communications category.

Step 8: Check these 2 boxs to Install updates and other third-party software by installing them alongside your Bee Free Linux install.
Step 9: Erase disk and install Bee should be the choice for beginners who already have backed up important data from the computer.
Step 11: This point is where you select your timezone and you have multiple options across the continents.
Step 12: Add a personal touch to your machine by adding your personal info and picking out a name for your machine.

DOWNLOAD BEE FREE OS LINUX AND ETCHER TOOL
You need an ISO image of Bee Free OS Linux. You can Download it from the source forge BeeFree Linux download page. You also need a 8GB USB Flash drive which will be used as a bootable installation medium.
To install Bee Free OS Linux, you need to write your downloaded ISO to a USB stick to create the installation media. This is not the same as copying the ISO, and requires some bespoke software.
For this tutorial, we’ll use balenaEtcher, as it runs on Linux, Windows and Mac OS. Choose the version that corresponds to your current operating system, download and install the tool.
CREATE A BOOTABLE USB STICK
Step 1: Insert the USB flash drive into your computer.
Step 2: Double-click on the balenaEtcher download file to run the app. Press Flash from file to select the downloaded Bee Free OS ISO file on your computer.
Step 3: Press Select target and choose the correct USB flash drive from the list.
Step 4: Press Flash! to begin writing Bee Free OS Linux to the USB flash drive.
For this tutorial, we’ll use balenaEtcher, as it runs on Linux, Windows and Mac OS. Choose the version that corresponds to your current operating system, download and install the tool.

Step 2: While the system would restart and initialize start pressing F9 (or Del or F10 or F12 or Esc) to display Boot Menu. The key could be different on different make and model, try other keys as per Make and Model of your machine.
Step 3: From the Boot Menu, select Flash Drive as Boot Device and Hit Enter. It may be at different serial number in different systems. Wait for the system to Boot from the Flash Drive.
Step 4: You should be greeted with the Bee Free Boot screen. Choose Install.

apt-get update

Now try this:
apt-get upgrade
Pay attention to the progress of the Terminal and enter Y when needed.
In some cases, you may need to reboot your Ubuntu system for the installed updates to work properly.
