Today we are looking at Duzeru. It is a highly customized and beautiful Linux distro,It’s that latter form in which DuZeru OS lives. This take on Linux is developed in Brazil and is based on the Debian stable branch. The default desktop (out of the box) is xfce 4.12.1, which helps to make DuZeru a serious contender in the lightweight Linux distribution arena.
You won’t find much information about DuZeru OS, because it’s relatively new. Nor will you find much in the way of documentation. Fortunately, that’s okay, as DuZeru OS is as straightforward a Linux distribution as you will find. The added bonus is that the developers have created a desktop that is incredibly easy on the eyes and just as easy on the mind. It’s not a challenge to install or to use.
INSTALL DUZERU LINUX STEP BY STEP
Step 4: After boot up the machine see will see Boot Menu, use your down arrow key and select the option Live English (amd64).
DOWNLOAD DUZERU LINUX AND ETCHER TOOL
You need an ISO image of DuZeru OS Linux. You can Download it from the Official DuZeru OS Linux download page. You also need a 8GB USB Flash drive which will be used as a bootable installation medium.
To install DuZeru OS Linux, you need to write your downloaded ISO to a USB stick to create the installation media. This is not the same as copying the ISO, and requires some bespoke software.
For this tutorial, we’ll use balenaEtcher, as it runs on Linux, Windows and Mac OS. Choose the version that corresponds to your current operating system, download and install the tool.
CREATE A BOOTABLE USB STICK
Step 1: Insert the USB flash drive into your computer.
Step 2: Double-click on the balenaEtcher download file to run the app. Press Flash from file to select the downloaded DuZeru OS ISO file on your computer.
Step 3: Press Select target and choose the correct USB flash drive from the list.
Step 4: Press Flash! to begin writing DuZeru OS Linux to the USB flash drive.

Step 3: From the Boot Menu, select Flash Drive as Boot Device and Hit Enter. It may be at different serial number in different systems. Wait for the system to Boot from the Flash Drive.

Step 4: After boot up the machine see will see Boot Menu, use your down arrow key and select the option Live English (amd64).
Step 5: You will boot directly into the live environment from where you can tour and test the flavor of DuZeru OS and you may choose to install it on Hard Drive, so select Install Debian.
Step 6: DuZeru OS installation is Calamares installer, Select display language.
Step 7: Set the system localize, it will be reflected just by clicking the area on the map.
Step 9: Select Erase Disk for a clean installation also you can decide the location of the boot loader.
Step 10: Set the information of the user to use.
Step 11: A summary of the contents set up to here is displayed. If you want to make changes, you can use the Back button to return to the item you want to change.
Step 12: If there is no problem with the summarized contents, it is finally time to start the installation. Installation is completed in about 20 minutes, depending on the environment of the machine to be installed.
Step 13: You’re done. Reboot your PC.
Step 14: DuZeru even has a very graphical boot menu.
Step 15: The login screen is also graphical and pleasing, almost unseen by other distributions.
You’ll be greeted by the DuZeru Desktop.
WHAT TO DO AFTER INSTALLING DUZERU LINUX

All you have to do is to fire up the Terminal emulator app or another terminal emulator of your choice.

Let’s try and update the system using:
sudo apt-get update
Followed by your password.
sudo apt-get update
Followed by your password.
Now try this:
sudo apt-get upgrade
Pay attention to the progress of the Terminal and enter Y when needed.
In some cases, you may need to reboot your Duzeru system for the installed updates to work properly.
